50 Cent is #1 on Forbes Hip Hop List

50 Cent can add another title to his resume. He is the #1 earner on Forbes’ 2008 Hip-Hop Cash Kings list beating out 2007’s winner Jay-Z by nearly $70 million dollars.

In the past 12 months, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson has raked in $150 million dollars thanks to his VitaminWater deal ($100 million), popular G-Unit clothing line, record label, films, video games, and platinum albums.

For the second consecutive year, Sean “Diddy” Combs finished third on the list with $35 million from his clothing company Sean John, record label Bad Boy, premium vodka Ciroc and reality TV shows.

Last year, the top 3 money makers Jay-Z, 50 Cent, and Diddy collaborated on the track “I Get Money” to celebrate their success, no word on if they will do the same this year.

Check the complete top 20 list after the break.
